Miele has expanded its Miele Masters program by adding two interior designers to the roster, bringing the total number of participants to seven. Chad Dorsey, principal of Chad Dorsey Design based in Dallas, and Kristin Harrison, founder of Georgia & Hunt Design House in Washington, D.C., have joined the group. These appointments follow the program’s launch in May and extend Miele’s reach into the Dallas and D.C. markets.
Dorsey is recognized for his work across a broad range of residential project types and scales. He focuses on a distinctive brand of relaxed luxury design that balances comfort with sophistication. Harrison’s studio, Georgia & Hunt, specializes in new construction and full-home renovations, with a specific emphasis on sustainability and functionality. The firm’s goal is to create spaces that feel lived in yet fresh.

Both designers will serve as Miele ambassadors, representing the brand nationally and in their home regions. Their specialties and aesthetics will blend with the existing group of industry-leading designers in the program. Five other designers were part of the inaugural cohort: Tiffany Brooks, Tamara Feldman, Luis Fernandez, Jay Jeffers, and Leyden Lewis. According to Catherine Grayson-Roper, vice president of marketing for Miele USA and Mexico, the program has generated awareness and curiosity within the industry since its launch. Grayson-Roper noted that expanding the group creates an opportunity to reach new audiences in additional U.S. markets and design networks.
Brand Investments in Design Community
This expansion is part of the brand’s continued investment in the architect and design community. Miele recently named Laura Kelso as design manager in Dallas. Kelso’s role will involve building relationships with architects, designers, and other specifiers to help integrate Miele’s products into luxury residential projects in the area.
Additionally, the company plans to renovate select Miele Experience Centers across the United States beginning this fall. These renovations aim to meet the expectations of today’s design community while showcasing the brand’s latest products and innovations. Briana Ryan, director of architect & designer development at Miele USA, highlighted the importance of these markets for the growth of the A&D program.

While the official statements focus on strategic expansion and relationship building, the practical effect of these moves is felt most directly by the homeowners who eventually purchase or renovate with these designers. For a client working with one of these firms, the integration of Miele appliances becomes less of a purchasing decision and more of a guaranteed design element that has already been vetted to fit a specific aesthetic, from a relaxed Southern style to a sustainable urban renovation.
“We are honored to be working with some of the top interior designers across the country who are truly influential in terms of their designs and product choices,” Ryan said. She added that adding Dorsey and Harrison presents an incredible opportunity for the brand in two strong markets.
